Well I'm down for joinage. But I was wondering when will this start up again?

There'll be another marathon next month (right?), July's marathon was a Catch up with a season-marathon but who knows what chii has in hand for us for October! ^^

What about some good fantasy for a change? We've had some action, ecchi, romance and manly stuff recently so I'd be up for some wizardry and mystisism :3 (no, watching Harry Potter recently had no influence in this, of course not xD)

Well a lot of anime are fantasy, but sure that sounds interesting. Did you hear about the Harry Potter ride breaking down? 100 plus people were stuck for hours.

One last thing is that i would not like the whole OAV only idea. I have watched some and only those that turned into a real series are good. granted I am not a expert, but I just love story and 1-6 eps cant do that. I like watching some here and there (actually makes series look much better.) Thats the point of OAV is to be a testing ground and if it didn't make it well.... True I have seen one that wasn't main streem that I wish was. Lastly 2.5 and up are ok ratings. To me it's .5-1.5=crap 2-3=good 3.5-4.5=great and 4.5+=WHY THE HELL HAVEN'T YOU WATCHED THIS YET

oh you wouldn't huh? i guess that's why bebop, beserk, FLCL, Akira, ranma 1/2, gungrave, golden boy, samurai x, appleseed, blood the last vampire, vampire hunter d and kikis delivery service would not make one of your marathon lists, as they all are ~10,000~20,000~ views...

Just as an aside, there are no review guidelines. Some people have an outline of how they personally score, but its always down to the individual. For me, 5/10 is average and I work around this ;)

Bebop is actually on the list for the upcoming marathon, as is Appleseed and Vampire Hunter D. There has been some of the more popular series and movies in the marathons as well, and there are some awesome gems within the older and more unpopular series too, if you're willing to be open-minded.

I've been happy with the titles, because I don't think I'd watch those less known series if it wasn't for the marathon, and if I really want to watch some more popular shows then I'll do it on my own or with a buddy group.

Just my two cents and gratefullness to chii who so kindly offers these opportunities to watch marathons with other members ^^

This list of titles is mainly submitted by me, as I was planning to hold a massive marathon around this time of the summer myself, so it's a bit different from the regular MMs. It's mainly a mix of classics and shows I've been meaning to watch for a long time, plus some handpicked by chii herself. Hence the more popular titles this time around.

It's a lot of titles either way, there should be plenty left to watch for most people (in particular RotTK, which all of you should watch with me ;P).
