Waste your Halloween: October 28 - 31
 Not sure what to do this Halloween? Want an excuse to ignore trick or treaters? Then welcome to the first annual Waste your Halloween on Anime event! In this we will be taking a careful look at that ever neglected genre, Horror. And- as always- this provides a golden opportunity to flaunt how much more free time you posses then your peers! When? Its already going! Just sign up by posting, and get in as many as you can. This ends just after halloween (at the end of the 31st), so go and good luck! Why? To get in the spirit of Halloween! In the process of trying to scare yourself into a fetal position, you could also add as much as 2 days to your Life spent on anime, depending how zealous you are. How? This is a little different then WYW in a few minor ways. Just choose a series from the list, movie or OVA and watch it as far as you want. Then post how many episodes you watched. Counting will go as follows: 1 Episode = 1 point 1 OVA = 1.5 points + .5 if you make Recommendations 1 Movie = 3 points + 1 point if you make Recommendations 1 Full Series = # of Episodes + 3 points if you make Recommendations. Allowed Series Top Watchers  Moonslayer - 28pts samshadow999 - 11pts Ailly - 11pts Kenikki - 6pts stingreis - 6pts Psoewish- 4pts Omurqi - 4pts absolute - 4pts Menchi - 3pts Noein - 1pt

Put me down for Higurashi no Naku Koro ni *currently watching but i will stop and wait for event* Pet Shop of Horrors Ayakashi - Japanese Classic Horror Ghost Hunt i will either add more or get rid of some, depending on what we are doing this halloween....awwww my favorite holiday/time of year...

Uhm, interesting. I'd join this. Sign me for Ghost Hunt and Boogiepop Phantom (I've wanted to re-watch this for two years now). I would rewatch Kakurenbo too, even if I would define it as a OVA and not movie, since it's only twenty minutes long.
I wanted to watch Kara no Kyoukai as well, but I usually wait until a series is completed before watching, moreover I heard that the last movie (not out yet) is linked to one of the previous ones, isn't it? Would you suggest to watch the other movies (five in total) then? |
