If you won't watch fan-subs/fan-scans: no problem with either.
Would prefer manga or anime or don't mind either: both are ok. haven't read manga in ages.
If there is a particular genre you really aren't interested in: shounens, battles, repeated cliche crap, clones of known and overused formulas.
other: I'm rather out of time for anime lately(thankfully i can read books anywhere), so get me something valuable - I'm a sucker for good dialogues, character depth, meaningful drama, decent slice of life. get me something close to asano inio and i will shower you with gold. get me a good drama, i'll love you. get me good slice of life, i'll hug you.

I keep checking back for the PM that hasn't arrived yet so no need to worry about me doing a runner.

I typically just don't like to involve myself in an established community until I'm ready. Considering the last community I was a large part of (a certain manga website I won't name but you probably know about) got shut down I've just not attempted to actually commit myself to this one yet.
