Monthly Marathon: At War with Halloween October 31 to November 4
 Welcome to the At War with Halloween Monthly Marathon! This time we shall be looking at some spoOoky anime along with some fun war time anime. So strap on those boots and get ready to fight some enemies or monsters! Because I wanted to include Halloween day for the watching I've added an extra day to this marathon for your pleasure! When? October 31 to November 4. Why? War against ghosts! Recommendations: Please add Recommendations for these series once you've watched them! Every single recommendation made helps out the thousands of people who use the database each month to find new stuff to watch. Everyone who participates in this Monthly Marathon should add recommendations for other series they think a person would like, if they can think of any. User Reviews: User reviews don't have to be many paragraphs, or even have good English. They can be as little as a single paragraph just to explain what you thought of the series and any extra tips for the reader. The longer and more detailed the better, of course. How? Just choose a series from the list, movie, OVA, or manga and watch it! Post how many episodes you watched if you didn't complete or started off at a certain episode. Counting will go as follows: 1 Episode = 1 point 1 Chapter = 1 point 1 One Shot = 1 Point 1 OVA = 2 points 1 Movie = 3 points Recommendation / User Review = .5 points Bonus 5 points if you completely finish a series Prizes for doing a Monthly Marathon:
Allowed Series ANYTHING that has the horror/war tags on Anime-Planet currently. Browse Horror Anime | Anime-Planet Browse War Anime | Anime-Planet Browse World War 2 Anime | Anime-Planet *All relations are also valid for points. *I don't care which anime/manga you THINK should have the horror/war tags, the ones that count for this marathon are the ones listed on AP already. Dang, thought Popee would be in for the Halloween special.
Another Highschool of the Tits, might save it for FYAB but damn, them plots  Dog Days, that's some serious war business. Manga side: Blue Heaven Catching up with Cage of Eden A uh... Higurashi no Naku Koro ni something. There's a few volumes in the teens at my library so I'll see what I can do. You know, if I hadn't already raped my mind once with it, I'd do Maiden Rose, but holy fucking shit not again. I could just say "Screw this list" and go with Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

Oh heck yes! :D
Another is one I should get on. Been hearing really good things about it. Ghost Hunt is definitely one that I should start Zombie-Loan too I might also try to squeeze Umineko and HOTD in there XD Might be more, might not, I'll have to see, but I am really excited for this!

Huh. I guess for anime... I'll try to get back into "Ghost Hound" (I've been stalled at episode 7 for a while) and I'll try to watch "Le Portrait de Petit Cosette" (or however you spell that thing). Plus, I might end up watching "FMA Movie: The Conquerer of Shambala."
As for manga... I'll try to read "Line," "Oral Cavity Infectious Syndrome," finish up "Shiki" (still stalled at chapter 2), "Zombie Loan," "Gyo," "Cole" and "Look Me in the Eyes When You Talk." And MAAAAAAYBE "Cage of Eden." Damn me for already having read/watched so many horror manga/anime!
