Please read everything in bold before answering the topic, thank you very much... Just so you know, I am against using Japanese phrases in normal English conversations, this was an accident. and I want to hear about accidents. >.>
I found myself saying to my mother: "oh wow, the Tsuki is still out." But of course I meant to say "Oh wow, the moon is still out". She of course thought I had gone crazy because she knows nothing about the Japanese language, not to say I know much either but still it was funny. So, now anyone want to answer my question? Have you ever mixed Japanese words into your English sentences? and if so please tell me your stories I'd love to hear them. and to the mods: if this is a repeat, or its in the wrong section I apologize I will gladly accept its removal or whatever if those are the rules. Not to ignore your question (No, except sometimes 'Hai' if someone yells out to me while I'm studying), but I'd like to reiterate my contempt for people who add words like 'kawaii', 'sugoi' and 'desu' into their sentences.

One of my friends said "Watashi wa has to pee" once when we were in Japan. Totally by accident.
I probably have mixed in Japanese before but I don't remember any specific incidences. But there was this other exchange student when I was over there who wasn't very good at Japanese and she would speak English except put in Japanese words when she happened to know them in a horrible American accent. Like "I need a drink of mee-zew". So annoying. |

I sometimes say 'hai' instead of 'yes', and even fewer times 'iie' instead of 'no' but mostly i just speak in japanese to my brother because it annoys the hell out of him due to the fact that he only knows a couple words.
