If you were to visit Japan, what time of the year would you prefer?
I chose Spring for the Cherry Blossoms >.> And I realize I made a typo for fall... but I don't know how to edit poll choices... |

Yep, definitely Spring and not just for the cherry blossoms. It's my favourite time of year anyway and I know Japanese summers are very hot which doesn't sound enjoyable for doing the kind of things I'd like to do in Japan (mostly not involving lazing around sunbathing)... although I'd probably enjoy the end of spring/beginning of summer period.

Winter is nice, and very white. But you're right, the cherry blossoms are very beautiful. Depends what you want to do. Summer is hiking season, see you on kita-dake!

Festivals happen all the time. The are a couple of big ones in the spring, but more in the summer. However, once you've seen a couple of festivals here, you've seen them all (a bit like the shrines and temples).
