"Kiss" and "neutralization" - Anime-Planet forum

Is the japanese for these two the same? I've watched an anime where the guy keeps saying that he neutralized the poison in a girl's body, and the girl kept saying "did you kiss me?"

I didn't understand one shred of their conversation, but listening to the japanese dialogue my theory is that "kiss" and neutralization is pronounced the same. or are they? O_O

how is it written? [just in romaji, i don't need the japanese chars as I can't read them anyway ^_^]

chuu《ちゅう》 can mean kiss and chuuwa《中和「ちゅうわ」》 means to neutralise.
