That disney downtown ground patrol car (7th image) looks funny, like a wind up toy. Wiener (vienna sausages) and frankfurter are the same.

Not quite, only the latter are pure pork. But you're right, I was thinking of Frankfurter Rostbratwurst, which is what I usually buy when I have to wait for a train. Just goes to show how little Germany has: even we don't know.

And yes there was a whole floor of a shopping centre at Kyoto station all ramen restaurants.

Well, they don't have as much reason as we do!

Have you heard of Avatar? It's an American production and many anime fans like it (me not so much). I looked into the Japanese dub and have to say that the English original is better. Maybe that's an incentive ;)
