Gackt is amazing...
I love Antic Café's new look, the old oshare days looked a bit retarded IMO. But it was still fun :P

POLYSICS are good, I think. Other than that, everything else I have is either from the soundtracks of video games or anime. The Pillows are good.

Oh! And! Generic Visual Kei band which I don't mind is Psycho le Cému.

I like all the pop-y sounding stuff you get from anime and the bands who always do good songs for them like: Flow, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, L'Arc~en~Ciel, Aqua Timez etc.

Maximum The Hormone is pretty awesome, the way they kinda combine that popyness with heavier rock and even some rap makes them pretty unique.

Nightmare has a heavy sound instrumentally but with a pop-edge because of the singing.

High And Mighty Color also has a heavy instrumental sound, but comes off even more pop-like thanx to the female singer on the hooks and sometimes throughout the songs.

On the heavier side I like: Dir En Grey, Girugamesh, Merry, -OZ-, D'espairsRay, etc.

Teresa 11

Quote:
I've never had so much trouble in simply "describing" a record, but the phenomenal japanese TERESA 11 are - truly - impossible to "frame".
Mutant trip-hop meets classical music, "smoky" ambient meets Kabuki traditional rhythms.

All this topped with astonishing female vocals and harp.
You've never heard anything like this, that's for sure. "Smoky heaven" will leave you BREATHLESS - this is a promise......

Recently I've been listening to Blood Stain Child. I guess they are a melodic death metal trance band.

They looked interesting, so I downloaded some of their stuff a while ago. I then deleted all of it the next day. They seem to be popular, because I always see someone dressed up as them at Anime Weekend Atlanta.

HaMC is awesome. I miss Maki. I wish she didn't leave the band. Halca is alright, but I miss the old High and Mighty Color.
