Great day for manga in my opinion :D
8 chapters of Suicide Island were released. I waited so long for some new ones, that was a definite boost to my day.
And Cage of Eden came out today as well.
Love me some Sunday manga :D

Meh. Liked the chapter. Any real developments from that first event would be... too soon.
It's a Shounen Jump series, after all. There would be decisive turns of events, which just wouldn't work.
Instead it focuses more on our dear blondie, whom I nowadays find much more interesting and cute.

Now adapt this shit into anime so I can get my Doujinshi...

There's more Hyouka Doujinshi than Fairy Tail. Amusing observation, but true.
So your statement is not necessarily correct.
But Nisekoi is a shonen jump manga, so the chances of an anime will increase drastically if it goes on strong past the 1 year mark, as staying in publication for an entire year in Shounen Jump is no small feat(most series get wiped within weeks). But don't hold your breath just yet though.

I know, Fairy Tail has like 8... and they suck... and I am of course familiar with Hyouka ones

Sket Dance is, as the series itself calls it, "a poor man's Gintama".(well, Kagura said it in the crossover)
Gintama is pretty much one of the main inspirations for Sket Dance.
(the author worked as an assistant for the author of Gintama too)
So yes, they are similarly structured, though I'll say Gintama is easily the superior series.
