Since I got used to reading manga I find that I often start reading Western comics from right to left without realising it, though only on the computer, not in printed form. Does this happen to anybody else?

I'm still pretty much a manga virgin but I was thinking about fixing that in the near future, I just can't decide on which manga to buy!
I'm most probably buying off amazon, and I was thinkin about buying some Deadman Wonderland, Bakuman and I would really love some berserk/blade of the immortal or Gantz but damn...some of the manga is just so expensive. I guess I should just buy everything used. So yeah, mostly looking for some good seinen. HEEELP ME ![]() edit: I don't even know if those mangas are good, I'm just assuming they are. |

Okay I ordered Bakuman vol 1-3, Fairy Tail vol 1-3 for about 6€ each and Neon Genesis Evangelion vol 2-10 for about 2,5€ each. I don't even know if I will like NGE, but I can't stand having only the first volume in my bookshelf.
Deadman Wonderland and/or Battle Angel Alita are next on my shopping list. Another day, another thought, so this doesn't count as a double post! ^_^ |

I don't understand how such old series as Berserk and BotI are still so damn expensive. |

I've had similar problems finding Battle Angel Alita to purchase, missing volumes or stupid costs. Berserk I've not had a problem with though... whenever I see a random volume in a shop I buy it to avoid future troubles.
I'm thinking of purchasing 7 Billion Needles, just wondering whether or not to read the original 50s novel first (coincidentally the manga is easy to find but the book not so much). I'm still yet to really start a proper physical anime collection, yet I'm so happy to buy manga although I rarely read it - I would put this down to the fact I've always been kind of addicted to buying books, but then my DVD collection has always been pretty big too. |
