There is a dusty old book store near my home that has a great collection of old books. I go there on a regular basis looking for basically cookbooks, reference books and manga. I went by there today and picked up some older mangas in good shape, all in Japanese, some were copyrighted as early as 1989. The list is below, I'm wondering if these are rare manga and what they're worth all of them are in good shape.
1. Ghost in the Shell-original movie manga--except for the GITS label this was completely in Japanese 2. The Secret of Blue Water(this is the only English lettering if could find on this book and I dont read Japanese all that great) 3. 3x3 Eyes--issue 2 , this one had a Japanese store tag in Yen on it. 4. City Hunter 5. Cats Eye(this one had the earliest copyright date of 1989 on it. |

You mean this for Ghost in the Shell? Amazon.com: The Ghost in the Shell Volume 1 (9781935429012): Shirow Masamune: Books
the uncensored version is out of print, so thats slightly rare I guess... look at page 58 if their are boobs, its uncensored, if not it is. I have this version of it http://www.amazon.com/Ghost-Shell-Ma...7011590&sr=1-7 |

I guess I should provide a picture. These definetely are not manga that you can buy at Barnes and Noble and some of the older ones have gone for good prices on Ebay. I don't read that much manga so I don't know too much about them. 3x3 Eyes is one of my favorite animes so I've held to those for sentimental value.
