-_-

well that's highly irritating as i think my synopsis is awesome.

the best solution is probably to make it general enough that it could fit for either version, but that might not be possible if you're saying in the JP version the goal is for everyone to die? if thats the case, how do they explain the girl in the beginning of the manga who 'wins' from the previous set?

I've not read the manga, but I've seen the film. In that the premise was that the kids had to kill each other in a certain amount of time. They all had devices around their necks that would basically blow up and kill you, and they would all detonate at the end of the time limit. The only way to escape this was to be the only one left alive; in other words you would have to kill your friends just to live. So if the film followed the manga then I'm guessing that the girl who 'won' was the sole survivor of the last one. I may have to look into the manga - I loved the film :D

P.S the idea of it merely being a reality show in the US version sounds annoying.

just saw the movie, not bad, crazy, but not bad. the americanization of it sounds dumb and would rob it. that and it would just be "running man"
