ive put up the 'mature themes' tag (the first of the adult tags being decided upon)

can you guys look through the existing manga rec list,and if youve read something you think deserves the tag, post it here?

Elfen lied definitely needs it.

I think battle angel alita should probably have it, but it's somewhat borderline. There's a lot of violence, and some scenes with severed heads, but at the same time most of it revolves around androids/cyborgs, so you see wires & lubricants instead of blood & guts.

How exactly is "mature" being defined for the purpose of this tag? Sex? Violence? either/or? Is there any particular cuttoff between what you would call "mature" and mere pg13 type stuff, or is it all a gut feeling kind of thing?
Hellsing might count, IIRC it was pretty violent/gory. I only read about half a volume though (wretched pseudo german accents), so someone who's more familiar with it will need to chime in

edit: nevermind about the fushigi yugi one, I didn't realize the one on the site was some sort of gaiden series.

It's a comic about ethics. Ashen Victor - Drug use. Battle Angel Alita/Gunnm - Post Apocalyptic World. Drugs, robotics, ethics. Hellsing - It's Hellsing. Confidential Confessions - Rape, suicide, sexual harassment, prostitution. Doubt - Murder mystery. Helter Skelter - Sabotage, lesbian sex, sex, nudity... White Rain - Just trust me on that one.
