Manga Submission Thread

Have you read a manga that isn't in the manga recommendation database? Post your manga synopsis suggestions here and the community will comment on it. Please ensure you check the thread after posting your submission for feedback.

What we need:

1. A synopsis that you've written from scratch, not taken from any other site. This includes taking a synopsis from another site and slightly modifying it - it must be 100% your own work. If you've never attempted to write a synopsis for the site, please make sure you read this post for helpful templates you can use.
2. You need to have read more than the first few chapters to add a manga. The amount needed depends on how many volumes exist. If a manga is 10 volumes, for example, you should have read at least the first 2 volumes. The synopsis should give a good indication of the manga up to that point.
3. Appropriate tags - as with anime please only include major tag suggestions.
4. Please say exactly how many vols your synopsis is based off of (ie, how much of the story, volume-wise, does it give away, and include how many are available).
5. That's it! Vols or extra info is not needed, and will only waste your time (as we need to confirm elsewhere anyways).

What we need from peers for feedback:

1. Is it a doujinshi? We have no plans to put these up yet.
2. Is it accurate? Especially pay attention to how many chapters or vols it's based on. If not many I need to know.
3. Are the tags appropriate? Can you think of other tags to add?
4. Do you recognize the synopsis from other sites? Newbies might not read the rules here and while we try to check for this, it's possible we'll miss it.

After you post:
From now on if something is posted from a person who doesn't need feedback on the synopsis, I'll just post the entry and delete the post here to reduce clutter. (Instead of responding and saying it's posted, as then I have to delete those as well!)

So if you post something and see it's not here anymore, make sure you're up to date on the manga section of the site ^_^

Kuzumi Taiga spent his middle school days getting into fights, but when he learned everyone had no expectations for him, he resolved to get into Senegai, the most prestigious high school in town. But he failed the entrance exam, and worse yet a girl laughed at him. Since he couldn't stop thinking about her, he storms back into the school to make her apologize. Unfortunately, on the way he beats up the head teacher, blows up a class room, and gets his head screwed off by magic! It turns out Senegai is a school of magic, and non-magic users are prohibited from entering. Since he entered, he has two choices, enter the school or get his memory erased! Taiga doesn't want to forget about that girl, so he enrolls in a magic school even though he can't use any magic himself! Worse yet, if anybody finds out, he'll be kicked out and have his memory erased! Can he survive the magical exams and high school bullies, all while tricking people into believing he's the strongest magic user in school?!

"Conquer the world" was the response Kuzumi Taiga gave when asked what he would do if he could use magic. After being laughed at he fails to get into the school he was applying for. However, he believes the girl who laughed at him to be responsible for the situation and arriving at the school gate he attempts to find her and talk about it. Getting mistaken as a student ditching classes by a teacher, he gets pulled through the magic barrier around the school and the ensuring chaos that happens was just the first step to Kuzumi learning about something completely out of this world, magic. For he's just been enrolled at a magic school, even though he can't do any himself!

Problems arise with past memories and up coming exams, that seem to put distance in their relationship. Will having trust in each other really keep them together?

Hazumu was a shy and feminine young high school boy named Hazumu Osaragi. After being rejected by the girl he loves Yasuna, he got lost in the mountains and was then abducted by aliens. After accidentally killing him, they resurrected him back to life, as a girl.

As a girl, Hazumu was the same person, but with a woman's body. Now that she is a girl, she is not afraid to show how she really feels. This results in a love triangle emerging between the three female main characters.

Hazumu was a shy and feminine young high school boy named Hazumu Osaragi(There's a weird re-use of his name here).After being rejected by Yasuna, the girl he loved, he finds himself lost in the woods outside of town. Suddenly, a large spaceship comes out of nowhere and lands directly on top of him! The aliens realize what they did, so they reconstruct his body, but give him a female body by accident!

As a girl, Hazumu is the same person, but is treated a bit differently by her family and friends. Through various experiences and adventures love blooms between three girls. Who will Hazumu choose?

Kurumi is lonely and silent girl and every Christmas her loneliness grows. But this Christmas is going to be unusual - Kurumi meets strange guy Kaito who says that they should be together. Why? Because Kurumi is... Santa and Kaito is her deer. Well, it seems that Kurumi won't be lonely anymore...
Very kind and magic story about love and friendship.

hey bloodyred, in the future dont quote your text - i only did that in mine because they are all entries i didnt write :)

great start! just two things:

1. careful of those 'personal opinion' statements - 'in this hilarious manga' is a personal opinion, so it should be left off. any types of statements like 'Series is about...', 'with a mix of comedy, action', etc should be excluded.

2. you have a great intro into what's going on with the characters- can you think of a single sentence to put at the end to wrap it up? So we know he changes when that sort of things happen? for example you could say something like 'now, dealing with [stressful situation 1] or doing [stressful situation] present difficult challenges. [name] must try to keep their coolto keep out of embarassing situations aplenty!' (i made this up so dont use it necessarily, but maybe it's helpful?)

One evening after fighting with her boyfriend, Maiko and her friend Aki decide to have a test of courage by visiting a dark and creepy abandoned hospital. But when Maiko receives a phone call from her boyfriend that he never got the message about taking part in the test, things take a turn for the worst and Maiko finds herself locked in an elevator with unwelcome company. Will her boyfriend come to her rescue in time, or will Maiko fall into the claws of a blind folded ghost?

In a world full of weird creatures with magical powers their are many events that to be told.
These creatures are known as Pokemon and together with their human partners they travel the world both in hope of getting stronger and fulfil their dreams.
These stories are based on plots from the virtual games such as trainers like Red in Kanto who dream is to be as strong as he can be.
Gold in Johto who needs to find all of his family’s pokemon that he lost, and there are many more, even seeing the story for the villains side. And with more detail into how Pokemon like Mewtwo and Deoxys came to be.

Makoto is a young girl who grew up watching her older sister get swept off her feet and married to Shin, who refers to his wife as “Princess”. To Makoto, Shin seems to be the perfect guy and sets the ideal for the man she wants to end up with. As she gets older, Makoto holds on to this idea of the perfect man, much to the dismay of her friend Yo, who has been harboring feelings for her. When Shin’s younger brother, Ryu, moves in with Makoto and her family, she discovers that while Ryu may looks just like Shin, they couldn’t be more different when it comes to personality. Ryu is sullen and distant, which initially pushed Makoto away, but she slowly discovers that he may not be as bad as he seems once she gets to know him.
