Manga entry errors

listed as 13 chapters when it's actually 12 volumes (12 not 13 and volumes not chapters) at least it's listed as 12 on both ann and wiki...

very minor error but again, just giving a heads up.

Sorry for the stupid question... what's MU? And I checked Wikipedia, but they don't list the chapter count. Are there any other good manga wikis?

aside from it being trash, "that site" is also an AP competitor site... that could be the reason Zak found your post ironically funny. More over, it's true that "that site's" information isn't wholly reliable. MU, I believe, stands for mangaupdates.com aka baka updates but the URL is as before. It's one of the better places to get manga info. ANN (animenewsnetwork.com) is also sometimes reliable.

MU doesn't list the chapter count for 20th Century Boys, and it seems that ANN doesn't list the chapter count for any manga. Are there any other reliable sites I can check?

aside from the manga reader sites which I hesitate to link here (I might be a pirate but I'm not a blatant corrupter of the innocent *cough* hush I see you ISSUPians over there laughing...), I know not of any sites that list the actual chapter counts at 100%

if you find it so important to be accurate down to the chapter PM me and I can link you to a couple sites I frequent for manga consumption. That is, if you don't already know of them.

The manga reader sites list 249 chapters for 20th Century Boys... but are those sites more reliable than the other site I mentioned?

I would say that the manga reader sites would be the most reliable because the chapters are there for you to actually read and confirm the accuracy of in it's number. Other than that MU is my absolute favorite to get info on any title for anything other than chapter count. They're going to have the most reliable and accurate information than any other that I know of. Wiki is also highly accurate and reliable but sometimes people like to be... rude and falsify data.
