Manga & anime are closely related, and the majority of manga have a corresponding anime series & vice versa. What are some of the manga series that don't have a corresponding anime? The only one I know offhand is yotsuba.

Well... As I said, the only one I know of that doesn't is yotsuba (and now clover & I wish).

So you are asking manga that have no anime made based on them:
I suggest you check out mangaupdates.com to discover the world of non-animated manga or just manga in general.
As for a bit of a list (all of these are pretty good manga that haven't been made into anime):

and the list goes on and on and on.

Dude... this thread is NOT the same as my question, and the threads should NOT have been merged!
This thread is essentially "what is your favorite manga without a corresponding anime", whereas my question is "what is a list of all/nearly all manga without a corresponding anime".
For example, if there were 100 manga series without an anime, you might answer ketsu's question with your 5 favorite ones, and completely omit the other 95. For my question however, you would list all 100. Huge difference there...
