I think Korean is from left to right and japanese is from right to left

Korean and "the west" from left to right, Japanese from right to left.

Less common Manhua(chinese comics) are also read right to left.

The only manga I've read left to right are Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha, since they were both reversed...

Dark Horse's release of Akira was left to right. So was Kodansha's re-release of it, as it was just the same Dark Horse release just with Kodansha's name on it.

Manga　and　Manhua　is　 right to left.
Comic　and　Manwha　and　Manhua　and　Ranma1/2　and　Inuyasya and　Akira is　left to right.
