...one of my case fans literally blew itself apart....now I'm down to 3 and the temp is rising....
can someone recommend a reliable and powerful case fan? Mind you I tend to leave my computer on during the day and night....and my house doesn't have a/c... unless you count the fan I leave in my window sucking out the heat...or trying to |

If you want the most powerful case fans available, there's only one brand. Delta. Just one drawback... they're loud like vacuum cleaners. Kinda hard to sleep at night with that sucker.
Here's the 120mm Delta. Pushes 190cfm of air. http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/delffb1212eh.html 80mm Delta http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/del80ffb08123.html If you want a fan that's not going to make you deaf, still push alot of air, and high quality, then get the Panasonic Panaflo. There's two kinds of Panaflo's, either high speed (more noise and push more air) or low speed version (quieter but less air). Keep in mind, there's a catch with these panaflo's, usually you need to buy the power cable to connect the fan to your power supply. Panaflo's http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...tby=14&order=1 Panaflo tail http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduc...n=panaflo+tail If you want to save money and have good quality, Vantec makes some good quality fans. Keep an eye out, some are just as loud as Delta. |

...my computer has been locking up during the day.....only during the day... and yet it is fine after being powered down for an hour....
I lost a P2 a few years back due to heat....it actually physically melted besides..... saying your CPU is melting tends to get people to notice your post more. |
