Anyone here play Soulcalibur II?

I love this game, and my new job *finaly a steady decent one yippie!!* they have 2 gamecubes and 2 ps2s in the breakroom the cubes have SCII on em ^^ *hate the goddamn cube controller but eh o well*

Everyone heads in on break and hits SCII its like "the thing" the company even holds tournys for prizes and stuff once a month hehe.

My first day on the job, im still in training I head in on break and ask if i can play winner. they all snicker and look at me funny cause im new *you can tell from my id badge* they are all like suuuuuure np man.

Grab a seat, a controller and get comfy they are all snickering and laughing cause the guy im vsing got 3rd in the company tourny that month and they figure me as freash meat. I pwned his ass all 3 rounds heheheheheheh

They all where like "pfft beginners luck!" and he trades off. I continue to whoop everyones ass during my 15 minute break heheheh, wasn't until the end of break when my buddy came in who happens to be the guy that gets first every month in the tourny says "hey art whats up" and they all learn i've been vsing him for months heheheh ahhh first day and I already had my phun with the co workers!

So anyone else play? My two main chars are raph and kilik. Still gotta 'train' some more with em the two best can still woop me. This is like the only fighting game i've found with sooo much depth to it you actualy have to limit your character choices because they take SOO much to master you'd be forever learning them all. The only other chars I use would me mitsurugi or talim if im bored.

Yea, i had a similar situation at work with SC2 a while back. It's amazing how people seem to think that the "new guy" at work has never played the damn game anywhere else. ALl i'd do is jump in and play a round, beat whoever was playing, and walk away. after a while street fighter became cool(rather it was just another capcom fighter that plays and looks exactly like any other sf game so i mix them up all the time, damn capcom and their lack of innovation in anything when it comes to that series.) so i stopped doin it.

omg...you get 'cubes and PS2s at job?? ^^;; How can I apply to that job? If people here at my office noticed I played solitaire or a flash game in my lunch break I'd be so fired.

mao, i do inbound dsl tech for bellsouth customers.. and currently make a measly $9 an hour. two 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch break a day. Its not an uber job the game room is the only thing that makes it tollerable.

The 2 characters I kick ass with are Link and Ivy, no one can defeat that combo, they are the unstoppable duo. In any case, Spawn is cool too, but Link is by far the best.

yeah I got the gamecube version. I'm not unstoppable with anyone, but I'm pretty good with 5 people: Link, Necrid, Cervantes, Mitsorugi, and Cassandra (dont laugh)

I have the xbox version but havent played on it for some time now. I was a mean nightmare player ;)
