Pretty self explanatory. And strange for me to put this up the same day I put three things in the What made your day? thread.
___________________________________________ Took an hour for me to get my H1N1 vaccine. My patient expired overnight. Sure I didn't expect him to make it (when you're on four pressors and need a fifth but can't cuz your valves are sclerosed shut, you know you're in trouble), but still. Five pressors . . . if you have to go that far, that means your heart basically is shut down (hell, three pressors is already on death's door). |

![]() ![]() ![]() momo dreams of the day when applications were ONLY $65 dollars, standardized tests DIDN'T cost in the FOUR digit range, and I could just sit at home and wait for acceptance letters instead of having to drive or FLY out for interviews. ![]() ![]() ![]() Good luck. But remember, if you're going to get a graduate degree, your undergraduate school doesn't really matter. It's all the same to a graduate school; it's what you DO that matters. A bachelor's from Harvard or a bachelor's from University of Wyoming makes no difference to anyone if your job requires a graduate degree because that's all they'll look at. And graduate programs don't care too (trust me, I've seen people from Ivy Leagues in the same graduate classes as people from colleges you didn't know existed). So don't get too stressed out looking for undergrad. And if you have absolutely no idea what you want to do, go to a large state school. You don't want to find out you want to do neurobiology when you're stuck in a little liberal arts college. |

For some reason the kid had to pee every 20 minutes for awhile this morning. She had just been, so I figured I was safe for awhile. Apparently not. I went downstairs for 2 minutes to grab the laundry only to come upstairs to find wet pants and underwear on the stairs, a huge pee puddle on the bathroom floor, and for some reason, the library book that I had sitting in the kitchen laying right in the middle of the puddle. I was so mad I didn't even know what to do with myself. The accident itself wasn't so bad, it happens, but what possessed her to go get my book and somehow pee on it is beyond me.
