My fiance's little cousin tried to commit suicide and I have no idea why and she's my mini me and it's the end of the semester and I'm stressed about money and hoping we get custody of my little brother and even though my "dad" cussed me out and shoved my mom to the ground and then his wife pressed assault charges on my mom he wants to play it like nothing freaking happened and be nicey nice when I can't even see my grandmother on Christmas day like I have most of my life except past couple of years. So, yeah, life is the problem.

families....is there a non dysfunctional one????? i don't think so ... but that is because i come from a home that was shattered and scattered i don't even know where my sister is... could be dead for all i know...father was a wife and child beater and alcoholic... i still have mental and psychical scars...so yeah it can suck ...and be very hard to deal with...one reason i live out in the woods and don't deal well with people...

So, been gone a while but I've had a lot of stuff to deal with. Figured this was as good a time to come back as any, seek some sympathy and such.

So about a month ago, my grandfather (mother's side) passed away. This was the first time anyone really close to me in my family has died so it hurt a lot. I figured "Well, it was inevitable and he was sick for a long time so... maybe it's for the better, at least he's not suffering."
Then, on the day of his funeral, I get a call from my father saying that my grandmother has passed away. Again it hurt but she too had been sick for a long time so somewhere you seek comfort in the fact that at least she's not suffering anymore. Both got to have their near and dear around them as they passed on so overall they both had good deaths, as a Klingon would say.

But... I wish the story ended there. For a few weeks my cat has been having issues with his leg. We were at the vet and they diagnosed him with a pretty nasty infection so for almost two weeks he had to take antibiotics and painkillers every day. When that didn't seem to work I brought him back and they said that the infection is clear but something was still wrong. So they opened him up and found that he had a lot of coagulated blood left. So they cleaned him up, bandaged him up and said that everything was going to be alright now.

When I got home half an hour later or so he was dead.

The vet said it was most likely heart failure or complications from the operation.

Needless to say I'm pretty devastated by the whole thing and with everything else that has happened... well, life's pretty damned bleak right now.
