What is all that junk in your sig?

So ever since Deus or marmar started all this, a lot of us have been adding a lot o' crap to our sigs. Many of us have top lists (again, started by the two pervs listed above). Since mine has gotten so large now (and I get so many questions about it) and so many of us have a bunch of extraneous stuff in our sig, why not explain it all here?

This is a capture of my first sig. Now that Suika has been rotated off of my avatar for a while, this is probably what I am best recognized by (that and cute Touhou avatars). A joke to begin with, it initially started with the infamous butt tackle which fans of IaMP and SWR know well as a very hard to hit with and mostly useless but fun attack that can knock the opponent across the screen. The second half was added on a whim and unintentionally added to the belief that I only use those chibi moe pictures for everything (it was my avatar in another forum for a while). Also for a while gave the impression I liked yuris. The final part, Natasha Kerensky's quote, is just there because I like it. And because it's true.

The lists

The first one is now back to I think the 3rd image I've used for the list since it's probably the best one I've used. It's a nice simple image of Rakka from Haibane Renmei that allows a lot of space for the first of my two anime lists. The only disappointment is Hotori ended up right over Rakka's head.

The second one is the manga list. Since I could never find a good picture of Yuka Kazami of Touhou fame (another favorite) for an avatar, I decided to let her take this place even though she only has a small cameo in one of the manga listed. Usually for a list I go for a major character in one of the very top items listed. You'd never guess looking at that reflective picture that this moe youkai is one of the most dangerous beings in Gensokyo and loves to rub people the wrong way and start fights. She's a merciless tease too. Like me maybe? ;p

The third and newest is Yumemi Hoshino from Planetarian (which a lot of people by now know I like), one of the best characters in the whole otakudom. Easily one of the best stories in otakudom, she gets a spot and a list just to get her name out there. The list also serves to advertise two of the things I pimp on the forums a lot, Planetarian and Touhou. It also shows (to those who know which ones they are) that I don't hate Key, what with them taking 3/10 top VN spots (2 of the top 5).

The fourth and EVERYBODY's favorite list is the true top (many different adjectives people have put forth here) anime list. First created for chii's benefit since she wanted more anime to watch, the list is now a full 50 strong (more if you consider the fact that I consider a series one entry unless there is a massive disparity in the individual parts). The choice of Nagisa and Honoka of Pretty Cure is obvious. Their show is one of the most popular there (look at the size of the franchise) and that picture in particular is sure to catch people's attention. Plus it is a reasonably tasteful picture of the two.

The AP sig

Lastly, the AP sig. The reason this is in the spoiler is because I had a complaint from a mod that putting it alongside the butt-tackle/yuris was too big. Since I am much more attached to the first than the AP sig, the AP sig was the one to go. I then decided to give it a chance and at least put it in the sig. The only place for it, then, was the spoiler. It's a sig with Cirno, Mystia, Wriggle, and Rumia hidden. I should edit it and at least get Rumia showing since I like her and Mystia quite a bit.

Major changes in the lists since last time

1st list - Kara no Kyoukai and Ga-rei Zero are in. Moomins and Kaleidostar have fallen out.

2nd list - Honeymoon Salad moves to #2. Sangatsu no Lion and Honey and Clover (both Chico Umino works) are in. Inu Neko Jump and My Girl are out. Some minor shuffling.

Forever Honey moves to #3 and Baby Leaf enters at #4. Dear Friends is out and some minor shuffling.

3rd list - The whole thing is new (to this forum).

4th list - Cosprayers trilogy consolidated. Amazing Nurse Nanako takes #1. Gungrave and Kumo no Mukou are in. Canary is out. Major shuffling of shows such as Death Note and Clannad. Minor shuffling.

What junk I have down there? Well, quote from certain great novel and a statement that's a fact. Not an opinion, but a fact. Fact that is true. Fact that you cannot deny. Fact that without there would be no point in this. One rule that rules over others. Undeniable fact. The fact that has to be spread. The fact that will save the galaxies.

I've been thinking of *getting* someone to make me a pretty signature that would likely have something related to wolves, but I've been too uhh, let's just say I don't wish to be bother to the artists. The thing is either I give too much instructions of how I want it, which is when I feel horrible of myself, or I give completely free hands, only giving the theme, when I have to like it whether I wanted or not. Few times the artist has done something completely out of what I asked, which uhh. Was bothersome. But then again, many times it's turned out just fine.
I don't really know what I should put in the signature anyways. I've had various quotes and images in the past, sometimes even had my own writings. But meh, I don't know. Does people even pay attention to what's on the signature?

well... i recognize people and even myself by the sigs... avatars work as well, but sigs change less often then avatars... besides: i like to see what people put down there, curiousity ;)

That's what they get for asking. That's why I'm maintaining my current top 5 in the other side of AP. Prevents questions.
