Bad example. Bose is pretty expensive but they don't make BIG speakers. And their 'virtually invisible' system is a huge compromise, I'm sure everybody will hear that there's nothing between the tiny satellites and the woofer. Useless if you like guitars.

I want to complain about your avatar change.

Technology wise, it seems that Japan > America > Australia, right?
Do you mean gadgets or nuclear power plants? Germany is pretty good with those (and cars) but we don't have a single Apple Store yet.

Hmmm, pretty much anything technological, from internet services to cars and gadgets.

And yeah, it seems that my avatar had more fans than I thought. lol - and when I went to change back - I found out I've lost it! :-(

We are sooooo far behind the rest of the world.
Agreed. I'm excited about getting ADSL 2+ soon which I'm sure is extremely slow compared to the speeds in Japan or America.

Edit: Whether or not this is accurate I don't know. But it's pretty depressing.

Wonder where Europe fits in. I'm thinking between America and Australia.
Depends on how you see it. America is indeed the place where more new stuff is being developped when compared to Europe. In Europe however, a larger percentage of the people have enough cash to actually buy all that new stuff when compared to America.

I'd say that the USA and EU tied on that one.
