What the title says, what annoys you?
You know those little things that make you contemplate taking the life of another human being? Pet peeves, habits whatever you want to call em...

For me, It's Whining, eating with one's mouth open/speaking with food in mouth and compulsive movers/fixers.

Let me elaborate:

"Whining"
I can't stand people who go on an on and on and on...about something. Fix it, or shut up.

"Speaking with food in mouth/eating with one's mouth open"

I have almost killed people over this. First, nothing is important enough to say that you cannot chew and then swallow before telling me. I don't care if you figured out the cure for cancer or world peace, you will lose a limb if you speak to me with food in your mouth.

Eating with the mouth open is especially bad when it's some elderly fellow with no teeth. It's like wet slices salami having a very slow duel...I almost cut my own throat with a carrot ...

"Compulsive movers/fixers"

These are people who have the desire to move/correct everything they see to another location and or fix an item. They walk into the house, they correct pictures, move furniture or at least suggest you do so. I'm a very lazy and practical guy, I do not move things once I have decided upon a location. Call me stale but I like to know where stuff is...drives me mental to come home and something is not where I left it...

My mother was especially good at this. I'd come home and my room had been totally arranged and i spent the next month locating everything. I came home one weekend to find that my room had actually been changed in my absence. I was now in another part of the house...

It got to the point where one night my father came home from work and thought he heard a noise upstairs. Well mother had just rearranged the front room(she did it about once a week) and he was unaware of this. He bolted to go upstairs and promptly met a coffee table at high speed...that was interesting to wake up too.

My father actually bolted his bed to the floor so she could not re arrange their bedroom anymore...

So what aggravates you?
(Yes, I'm using this as a way to vent as I seem to have had all of my buttons pushed in the last few days...)

people on the train who have Nextels and do not put it on private mode...
Of course they are always talking loudly about their sex lives or going on some other raunchy profanity laced rant.
It makes me want to grab their phone out of their hand and stomp it into oblivion

Really, there are two kinds.
1. People who apply human relations rules to technical matters. Examples: "But I thought 10% don't matter...", "Well, feet are more familiar than meters..."
2. People who apply technical logic to human relations. Example: "You've left f## 20 minutes early! [makes a 40-minute speech]", "He did a wrong, now he doesn't deserve to live!", et cetera.



Dirt is something useful which got in the wrong place.

At the moment I am annoyed that my grandmother has no internet so I will be without it for several days (can you spell abstinence?), and that just after half a week or so with very limited access to my own comp ><

Other than that:
children; they are noisy, smell, loud, annoying and rude

I rarely get annoyed in real life, probably because most people there show constraint. I get most annoyed by people on IRC or online. The ones that really bother me are the bastards that demand and scream for releases like they are owed it and the annoying Japanophiles that talk about Japanese supremacy over everything like a neo-Nazi would talk. But at the very least a neo-Nazi has likely seen some of what they are protesting. The worst Japanophiles are these neo-Nazi rhetoric types who know absolutely nothing about Japan and base all their theories on it from anime (THERE'S an accurate depiction . . .) and dump in random Japanese words in their speech. You know, like the really ear-grating engrish songs dump random English in their lines.

People who stand in the middle of the hall in school and just talk to their friends. Move out of the way!!

Overtly optimistic people, especially those determined to cheer you up. If i'm pissed off or feeling down the last thing i want to see is some idiot with a stupid grin on his face telling me life is great.

Then we got the idealists, spewing out senseless nonesense about how the world should be, usually not stopping to think if their ideas are really practical or even doable before they open their mouth.

And then we got the Mr. Goodguy type. You know, those bastards who belives it's within their right to judge right from wrong, and as soon as you do something they judge morally dubious they're quick to try "putting you back on the right path".

Luckily, all these three are pretty rare. Though for some reason these failures of human reproduction seem to be drawn to my hometown for some reason, so they're not all that rare here.
