Well when she died, the house was sold, and split 3 ways, between my, my brother, and my half-sister. That was 13 years ago and started out at around $60,000 each, but by the time I can TOUCH my share, it'll be around $87,000... So I'm set for a little bit.. I'm also joining the Army once I leave school and they pay rather well.

Yeah, we got an army.. And it's supposed to be one of the top military forces in the world.. I'm not saying this from a biased perspective btw..
I'm actually curious as to what the Finnish military tactics are:

Our tactics is to get those funny Soviets stuck in the one and half meters of snow and -30 degrees celsius winter with their motorized army - all while we just ski around laughing at them or have fun in sauna (sauna actually saved us for the reason that all kinds of pests were infecting Soviet soldiers with nasty diseases, but those pests die in the heat of sauna and therefore many of our soldiers were spared from them). And on the other hand, Soviet union had screwed up tactics themselves to begin with; to think that they can just drive across Finland with their tanks while the terrain is mostly forest and swamp with bad and few roads. They were also way too badly prepared for the winter and basically froze to death. Moreover, if I remember correctly, they had executed all their higher ranking officers just earlier (Stalin obviously didn't approve) so they gravely lacked experienced leaders. And of course, we had a huge advantage being familiar with the terrain and, even though we lacked weaponry, at least we had decent clothes. [/history time] |
