Lol I never had many friends and those that I did have weren't that close. I guess there was just not enough stuff to bond over. Everyone had their own lives and we just couldn't relate. Not that I mind. I always found that close friends were always a bit too intrusive for my taste.

2 hours away. And I visit every couple weeks unless I have exams + breaks. And then summer I'm home all the time. I'm not excited for this summer. I'm gonna be doing nothing but playing video games -.-

The question was aimed at both of you really as you're both still at University from the sounds of it. Keeping friends is hard after Uni finishes unless you all live close together. The problem must be ten fold in the US just with the sheer size of the country. My advice to keep yourself from getting bored during the summer is physical activity, it might be from FMA but a healthy mind takes root in a healthy body, my reasoning skills and philosophical ideas matured significantly when I started Taekwondo, but you don't have to get into anything like that, a jog or a walk through the country would do the same.
It might seem like work now, but as soon as you start taking small steps towards it, you'll not notice that anything in your life has changed, except that you're fitter, healthier and maybe look a bit better (if you're lucky) |

Years ago i'd say you are lucky that you need to gain weight, but in the years of training and teaching i've done, it seems that gaining weight is harder than losing it as there is usually a much stronger reason (either mentally or physically) that you can't gain weight. Protein and good carbohydrates is always my answer to it along with a well balanced diet, but that's easier said than done if the person doesn't want to eat, in which case they have to do the thinking behind it themselves.

I've read a lot into it, and the general consensus in contemporary science is that it's all down to genetics and your chromosome structure. Its not like an extra X or Y gene or anything but literally how they are built. Some people are just instinctively full easier, where as on the other hand, others can just eat and eat easier.
This is where Personal Reality Theory comes into it for me, because will power is an incredibly strong part of it. It requires serious mental conditioning to alter how your body physically feels about something, and that's what's required to change. |

I was a little chubby as a wee lad, but since high school (since I did 3 sports), my body has always been strong and conditioned. I get in plenty of walking now, I have a physical job, and I exercise at home (to increase my muscle endurance and power).
If I get into this bakery full-time....I might be in school by fall semester, woohoo! Damn, here come the headaches.
