Won't stop me from sucking up EVA 3.0 like a sponge. I just hope it's not as big of a mindfuck as EoE was (for me).
So I just found out (by mere accident) that both parts of the Kyoto OVA for Rurouni Kenshin are out? Happy Happy Joy Joy! |

I watched the first episode of the new OVA last night and no, it's not. It's a decent re-telling of the Kyoto Arc from Misao's point of view with nice animation, but that's it. At the same time it's way better than the Seisouhen OVA and to reach the levels of awesome Tsuiokuhen did is quite difficult.
It's not like I was asking for much, though. The Kyoto Arc is excellent and the best part of the Kenshin series (imo) and to see it again is worth the experience alone. Yeah, I found out the hard way yesterday... I searched the web for at least an hour before I gave up. I hope someone gets it done soon. |
