Growing teen? Hardly... the only thing that's grown on her is her boobs and it's annoying. They've become riddiculously big and I think it's bad for the society overall... I'm not really the one who think of stuff like this but watching an ep of OP just a few min ago it occured to me several times so I had to get out of the couch and get over here and write it down -_^

Well, okay... her hair grew aswell... my point was that most of the character's appearance hasn't changed much at all (Sure, they might've grown hair, changing clothes etc but they surely don't look any older at all)
Naruto's a good example of where the characters age... though it just happened once and was between the original series and shippuuden

That's how time skip aging works with chick characters. Slap some long hair on them, maybe up them a cup size, and say they're older.

By shounen standards, not really.Ït's pretty much nitpicking.
And this growth happened over fifteen years of drawing.
On the other hand, the guy in charge of mutliple episode throughout the anime, including two movies, 7 and 8, (I am too lazy to find his name) was just fucking ridiculous.
And people act as if it's just recently that they were made to look bigger.
