Yeah, it's pretty much one of the core reasons the manga is better.
Oda paces One Piece excellently, and I imagine him being given the reigns over Bleach's story and and the chapter construction. Bleach's "final arc" would be over by New Years.
So a filler arc would probably be welcome if it saves the pacing of Punk Hazard(read: Awesome).

I should really catch up with the OP manga. Everyone seems damn excited about Punk Hazard and I feel like I'm missing out.

DAT: I think I've started too many shows from the fall season and I plan to start a couple more next week. Ah well, that's the fun of it.

Will kaiji be able to keep up or will he fall into catch up hellllll?!?*

Jesus fucking Christ, Sword Art Online. It just keeps getting worse and worse. Not sure what'll happen now, but I think this show has systematically destroyed any chances of me giving a fuck about anything it tries to portray in a positive light in the last 11 episodes.

Most common cause of death in Japan:
The common cold, any time of the year.
To begin with, the whole "you get a cold by getting wet/chilly" thing is an old MYTH. Colds don't work like that.
But god DAMN are people prone to it in Japan, apparently!
You can get impaled and stabbed, dismembered, burned, shot, lacerated and otherwise deeply cut, blunt trauma, etc etc etc and survive just fine.
But H-O-L-Y-S-H-I-T if you get soaked then you're bedridden for the next week!

Bleh. It's like in animes with space travel and lots of super technology, yet they are incapable of treating Tuberculosis.
