I like to watch the totality of everything I start so I'll be able to give my opinions on the whole thing rather than just a part of it.

Also, I'm a completist. Filling the Pokédex with all 385-ish Pokémon wasn't exactly thrilling in its later stages but finally seeing it all done was fucking satisfying. Those who know will know.

Well, that show was entertaining at one point. It didn't become sucky until later, and by then, it was too late to drop it. And after a quick check, the last thing I dropped was Kill Me Baby. Again, wasn't going to watch the whole, horrible thing, because of a no-drop policy.

I retired after catching the first 150 and Mew. Back then when they said "Gotta catch 'em all!" when it was like those 151 pokémon, that was a goal for every gamer to work forward to (those who played Pokémon anway). Then they said "Hey! We came up with a few 100 more! Gotta catch 'em all, remember?!" and I was doing it like Eric Cartman and went home.

Hmm, I haven't played Pokémon Blue for what seems like an eternity. Wonder if I still got my old save... *begins to dust off GB*

Talking to some little kid once. Told him I remembered when there was only 150 Pokemon. He looked at me like I was crazy.

I could never take on a no-drop policy. I like to sample as much as possible, so there is no way I could finish anything if I didn't trim the fat.

Ha! I'm pretty sure you were complaining from near the start (within the first 5-8 eps). But whatever, I digress. Whatever the reason was, I've sat through too much crap to give up on the no drop policy now. If I quit now, then all the previous sacrifices will have been for naught.

Btw, I never played past Pokemon Red/Blue. I was out of the phase by then. But I did manage to complete my pokedex at 150 =P

I usually don't like to drop series at all either, but I often stall them to the point it's meaningless to pick them back up without rewatching everything, so I tend to either remove them completely from my list or put them back in the "want to watch" category. I do have 10 drops though.

I tend to lose interest in series a lot when I suddenly become fascinated with something else. I guess I have ADD.

You still need Mew... Better get on that.

^ I remember how I would ALWAYS come back to the truck nearby the M.S. Anne, thinking of a way to try and move it. I always expected Mew to be under it (until I was told about its real location).
