So far what it seems to me is that those other beings are the persons hearts, and when a person gets hurt, so does their heart, meaning the other beings, that's why Black★Rock Shooter was heavily injured every time Mato was hurt emotionally. I do not know why the other world characters land in the worlds they do since each one of them has one of their own by the looks of it. I guess that the heart that starts to get hurt is the one thats dragged into the predators world, which is why Dead Master (Yomi's other world being) and Black★Rock Shooter were in Chariot's (Kagari's other world being) world, both Yomi and Mato were being hurt by Kagari. It seems like when one of the other world beings dies, the real world character has a "change of heart" which is why when Chariot died Kagari was smiling. This is all I have so far though, and some of it is guesses.

i wonder why mawaru penguindrum didn't/isn't get more attention. or maybe i was just under a rock?

literally the first time i heard of it was when i saw the reservation for a figma go up, but its really really good. so far.
