I wonder why watching a good slice of life series is so relaxing. Its like all the hard work I did today doesn't even matter now.

I've always seen that as the genre's main selling point, to be honest. Am I just weird and most people watch them for other reasons? I know some have a healthy mix of comedy in them, but the likes of Aria...? Creating an atmosphere is basically its sole purpose -.-'

Ok, so I'm starting feel a little down, for some reason. And I suddenly realize; I have three episodes of Gintama (204-206) that I can watch.
I put it on, and within the first few seconds of the OP I'm already in a spectacularly good mood.

I find it near impossible to be in a bad mood while watching gintama. Isn't it great? =D Anime can be so powerful. I'm also feeling a bit down, so I'm watching squid girl. It's helping.

Sometimes when I feel bad, I pick a random k-on episode and watch random 5 minutes(usually end up with whole ep and whole two another)... suddenly, I feel... HAPPY :d
