I wonder if I'm the only one that avoids the anime-specific forums of my few favorite series. People critiquing them detracts from the fun and people saying how awesome some parts are make them seem somewhat less awesome...

I actually had time to watch anime today. Watched a good deal of it too.
Watched:
Hanasaku Iroha 1-3
Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko 1
Hidan no Aria 1
Gintama 1-5
I tried to watch Steins;Gate, but I wanted to watch some more gintama.

really good day for me in anime. I can feel tomorrow will be better.

You don't have to see an entire show to complain about it. If i felt like watching the whole thing, then i probably wouldn't complain about it. Kinda the whole point of having a "Dropped" section on your profile.

I've finished plenty of shows that I complain about.

Well, that's you. I don't complain about shows i liked enough to finish. Infinite Stratos being the obvious exception.

although you make a point that one could bitch about a show without having finished all of it, you'd always be in the dark when talking to others who have seen the whole show..it's like saying that you love some show you've never finished..

example: say you drop a 24epi show 10epi's in. you dont know what happens after epi 10..

A.)the next 14epi's could have been full of epic and win,turned all your complaints around and shove any argument you have back into your face..

B.) the next 14epi's could be worse than you imagined and thusly you look like a dumbass when bitching about it because you dont know about the really really really terrible parts or plot twists..

by all means drop all the shows you don't like, tell you're friends why you dropped it...(i do)
But don't go into hard core rants full of RAGE about a show you dont know the end to..if you dont mention the fact that you dropped it at episode ?? you're only setting yourself up to look like a moron to those who know the end to the story.
