I'm watching a lot these days. I have to take the chance while I still have holidays...
Two weeks left. *sob*

I've watched 34 Medabots episodes between today and yesterday. Well, actually it's been 33, the last one comes now =). Also watched some Lupin III and Blood the Last Vampire.
I have to say, I waste so much more time when there's Internet where I am... When I was away in July/August I carried the laptop, and whenever I started watching anime I watched one ep after the other, non-stop. Here at home, after finishing one I feel like stopping and checking the forums, singing a song or whatever. Quote:

After having bought a bunch of Miyazaki films I decided to start watching a few of them dubbed. Out of Castle in the Sky, Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, and Nausicaa I only ended up watching Nausicaa completely dubbed. I didn't really give any of the others a chance though so I might have to actually rewatch them all dubbed just for shits and giggles.
As for Nausicaa it's probably my favorite Miyazaki film and the dub was surprisingly good. The only time I even blinked was when I heard Shia LaBeouf's voice. His first appearance as Asbel sounded like he was trying to actually hide his voice a bit but after that he just went with his regular voice. That was the only real reason it stood out to me. Speaking of dubs I decided to finally crack open my box-set of Mushishi and give it a whirl. I watched episode 1 dubbed and liked it. I switched over once just to see what the characters sounded like in Japanese and found out the boy in the first episode sounded more boyish in the English dub than the Japanese one. It actually surprised me a bit when I heard his Japanese voice as I thought he sounded girlish enough in the English dub. As for episode 2 I stuck with Japanese all the way through. I figure I'll switch off between English and Japanese just for the fun of it. Just a random thought but I wonder why Funi decided to go with white subtitles. |

Dam straight! I'm planning to re-watch once I have the whole series (still missing the last season) but once I do, it's go time. Same thing for Dragonball.
