in japan anime on TV all days there over 30 anime each season you can watch it for free (kind of) so what the problem.

i think japaness fans buy the anime they like as appreciation for the anime not to own it

out side japan we buy anime so we can watch it

And on Robotics;Notes, would this be heavy sarcasm i'm detecting? I'm 5 episodes in and it's alright so far, Aki is awesome, but i wouldn't say it's anything special right now.

More obvious than heavy. Robotics;Notes is a very inconsistent show that doesn't know how to tell jokes, make its characters endearing, show actually memorable scenes or keep the episodes interesting throughout. The writing is pretty poor in general, albeit it's not a truly bad watch.

Although nothing in it has majorly offended me thus far (Kai's dismissive personality sucks a bit though) i've already got the feeling that this will turn out to be painfully average. I'll keep watching though and see how it goes.

If by the time i catch up i feel like you do it'l be a giant waste of a great character in Aki, man she's great. Unless of course they ruin her later on
