Because he's the most retarded character in the show.
The Code MENT version makes more sense, and is also waaaay more likable.

Except that argument is only valid for people making webcomics and youtube videos.
People actually pay for the magazines that these series are serialized in, and for the clear majority, being a mangaka is extremely demanding and strenuous work, yet some of these guys for some reason remain in publication.

I just KNEW you wouldn't get the point.

Which is, if you're being paid to do a job, and on top of it people are paying to get a service (magazines for manga, taxes for health service), you have an obligation to get shit done.

Being a mangaka doesn't equal being a free spirit, you know. There's a contract and srs bizness involved.


Just like with any other legitimate job. Whether it is a doctor, a lawyer, a teacher or a vampire hunter.
