Store new boxsets in a nice sized box, which is perfect if you ever have to move anyway. That's what I'm doing. xD

Compared to most anime, even action based ones, it's kind of unorthodox.
Some people just are fucked up beyond repair, and it's not necessarily even their fault.

the "bad guy" in this arc, besides the people in H&G's past that were responsible for making them into what they are, would be Balalaika who has Hansel die slowly rather than just killing him immediately. Even though they'd killed one of her men, taking "revenge" like that on someone who is just... broken just feels... bleh.

Pretty much one of the best, yet most revolting moments in the arc is when Gretel offers herself up sexually to Rock when he attempted to show kindness, because she just didn't have any concept of that like a normal human.

Quite the aversion of the "friendship saves everything" trope.

The problem with bootlegs like this is that they're dishonest.
At this point in history, when we buy anime we generally do it because we think the anime and/or the studio deserves it.
There's a feeling of support in doing it.

So what exactly is the point of buying bootleg at all today?
You can easily watch anime for free, streamed or torrented, and with better guarantees on translations and such. (more than one bootleg translation just looks like they shoved the dialogue into google translate)
At this point, the bootleggers con you into thinking it is a legit product, when in reality not a dime goes to the people who originally made the product.

Thinking about making significant purchases at a bootleg gives me the same feeling as if you were to make a personally significant donation to what turned out to be a fake disaster relief charity, or something like that.

I agree. If you're gonna pay, at least pay for the genuine article (as any industry needs support to thrive).
