I haven't watched anime in a couple weeks and I'm having a hard time getting back into it (and the shows I'm watching aren't exactly helping me get started again).

^ watch Kuragehime. I mean, you don't have a Want to Watch list unfortunately, but I think Kuragehime could save an anime crisis. If that fails try one of the mega popular shows you haven't seen like Fullmetal Alchemist (Brotherhood if I can be cheeky in a recommendation).

DAT: I think I am falling in love with shoujo. Clearly, my bad experience with Vampire Knight was simply that - a bad experience.

I actually promised a friend of mine that I'd watch Brotherhood (and I will!) but the main reason that series (and quite a few other newer/popular series) aren't on my list is because my computer monitor is relatively low resolution and I want to save watching those series available on Blu-ray until I have a better res screen.

But in the mean time, I had been eying (sp?) Kuragehime since it started airing, but wanted to wait till it finished so I could watch it at my pace. I think I might drop (or stall most likely... I had such high hopes for them) one of the series I'm watching now and start that, thanks for the advice

yeahg i too miss the after school tea time .....but i just watched Rurouni Kenshin and it was more of a chore than i had expected it to be...

Did you think the entire series was a chore or everything past Shishio's arc?

I think i truly only enjoyed a part of one arc the entire 30ish episodes after the Shishio arc.

DAT: To keep new avy or not.. I'm not sure yet I guess i'll sleep on it.

Rurouni Kenshin i started getting tired about half way through the "oppressed christians" thing and the Shishio thing was just too unbelievable for me ...people with more than 50% 3d degree burns on their bodies do not become super strong they mostly just die....the last bit was okay and some of the beginning ....there is enough in it to keep watching but it was tedious over all....
