The most underated characters in anime.

Which 3 characters do you think are really underated to the point nobody really talks about them?

For it has to be uso from Mobile Suit Victory Gundam.



The problems he has to fcae durin the 52 episodes are depressing,even the mother he barely knew,died in fornt of him with her head chopped off.He lost everything towards the end but never moaned during the whole series.

I just finished Baccano! and have been reading around; Lua seems very underrated (and her character page has very few 'loves' compared to the other characters from the show). She is a very great and beautiful character though.

Ritsu from K-On! gets relatively little love, but she is really nice and beautiful and fun.

Hmm, this is a tough one, because it's hard to figure out if a char is underrated or not. Most people never talk about minor character's, whether underrated or overrated, just because the leads steal the spotlight.

But if I had to think of some, I'd say Misao, Hiyori, and Patty from Lucky Star. I was beginning to get really tired of the show around the halfway point, and I probably would not have finished if they didn't introduce those new chars.

IMO, Ritsu is the best character on K-On! That show would suck without her in a way it would not if it lacked Miyo, Azusa, or Mugi. (It simply wouldn't be K-On! at all without Yui though)

I'd have to say Nishijou Takumi from Chaos;Head. He suffers from an absolutely terri-bad second half of his anime which is the reason for him being underrated (although the first half is top 10 material), but he's actually very well developed and is pretty unique, even from others of his kind (hikiomoris)

I can only think of one at the moment. Krillian from DBZ. I mean he's outclassed every step of the way, but he's always there to lend a helping hand. I mean, he commits suicide just about every arc. That deserves something.

Urumi Kanzaki from Great Teacher Onizuka is pretty underrated. You hate her in the beginning, but you realize that she's pretty badass.

Nagi Ichinose from Nyan Koi! was hilarious-- pretty underrated as well.

Tarou Maria Sekiutsu (Maria) from Zetsubou sensei is pretty funny too, though not as great as some of the other classmates, the guy who sold her his identity made me rofl.

I think Sunohara from Clannad is pretty underated. He was the comic relief.

Cool Calm Collected, he acts like a precursor to a band of bounty hunters that came later called Cowboys.

Fork, from Hi Speed Jecy.
A vigilante getting back at baddies with a gun that puts them through tremendous pain. He is also a priest, and will sleep with voluptuous red heads, and wears a mean black cape.

Piloted a Giant about a 10 story mecha (that is bigger than gundams and such) was solid in the face of peril and rocked the best Afro of the 80's
