This is a boring soap opera. I don't mean it is boring because it is a soap opera. I mean, as a soap opera, this is boring. I will only continue this if someone tells me that the reason school days has the most recs for this is because everyone dies at the end.

Every time I watch a show like this I am confronted with the fact that I am probably a sociopath, because every time I wish that the show would end with everyone killing each other. It's the only reason i watched Shuffle to the end -_-

I dropped the Melancholy of Haruhiat after about 5 episodes. I kind of liked it, but there wasn't enough intrigue for me. I enjoyed Haruhi as a character, she's really fun, but this was mainly a bridge to get to the "Disappearance" movie which I loved. So it was an anime I wasn't ready to invest in all the way, but just to set up the movie.

One Piece
The whole "It's good to see this show after 5 years" feeling has passed, and the less enjoyable "It's over 500 episodes long, and I already know every plot point, twist, character death, and Nami eventually looks like a cheap hooker" feeling have set in. Kinda sapped my enjoyment pretty quick. So, dropped.

I couldn't bear to watch the whole Fishman Island Arc so I also dropped it. The pacing is One Piece is so slow that it kills it for me.

That arc was dragging stuff so I stopped watching it about middle point and haven't watched One Piece since.

But for me it's stalled. I think once I have some dozens of episodes to watch I'll do it eventually.

I've One Piece stalled at 206, after Skypiea arc.. some marine base or something was going on there. I think it was a filler, but the animation turned terrible there. Might be the reason why I stopped watching this back then.
