Mitsodomoe. I had ep 6 DLed for like 3 days and couldn't bring myself to watch it. I think that's a sign that it needed to be dropped.

I watched first 30 episodes of Naruto, dropped it, but still watch Shippuden in batches when I can (stalled at 110)... not my favourite show but with a spliff and nothing else to watch you can marathon that baby like no one's business and it feels intense and actually good.

Heroman
I get a few episodes behind, and I had no desire to watch anymore. I hated the story, and the characters. Stan Lee needs to stay away from anime and manga. He's great, but Heroman was just stupid imo. Did he watch one anime, and tried to imitate style based on that? Shukufuku no Campanella That was so boring. Shallow, two dimensional characters, that I didn't give a crap about. It's like each character was designated an emotion or two, and they were stuck with that. They were so predictable. The story wasn't going anywhere. If it started to pick up, I wouldn't care anyway, because I had no interest in what happened to the characters. |

The answer was a resounding "we didn't". Of course you did, the Zabuza arc was amazing and he was a cool character. He was the only villain for gods knows how long after that didn't just run around being angsty or retarded. Orochimaru was the worst replacement imaginable. >:( |

Apparently, Heroman has a different target audience =), it's extremely Saturday Morning Cartoon-ish. And not the best of the bunch (but FAR superior to Shukufuku no Campanella, that show hurts man, what it hurts, I wont elaborate on xD). The only thing I disagree on was Stan Lee's intention, and his knowledge of anime. Heroman is a new formula for anime, it's an attempt to get the American comic book cliche into the Japanese knowledge. Just the same as anime moving into our very own American cartoons...I'm sure you guys can name a few.
Edit: By "our", I didn't mean to be inclusive, sorry! |

Did even say anything about his intentions? My point was, there were a lot of anime cliches in the show, and you wouldn't have to be an anime fan to know that they are cliches.
