I just saw this on Tweetdeck!
Awesome news. Just amazing animation. I would recommend it to anyone to see if for the visual aspect alone. You do not have to have seen the original, for it is a more compact retell. I like the sub a bit more, but will be more than happy to see the dub if I can see it in the theater! In fact, it looks like the acting in the dub is pretty spot on. Anyhow, Seattle July 3rd! Bam! I am there. |

not sure if id be that interested in this because the animated movie that takes place after the anime was awesome enough. Although Im sure they will have a DVD/HD-DVD/Blue-Ray release for this and im also sure some guy will probably go and record the movie on a camera like whats done with almost any movie.

I don't understand why Canada gets all the frakking showings. Can someone explain to me why Toronto, ON needs four different theaters showing this. You would think that Funimation would share some of the love with the US, but I guess we're not good enough. Even here in Fayetteville, a very non-progressive military town, we have an art house theater that would have been willing to show the new EVA movie. It's like Funimation decided to not even try for the US audiences...
