You don't say?
I'm already on that. But writing seems more fun so I'll probably go with it.

I also do not care for moe. I'd have to admit that the trends that dominated anime in the late 1980s and 1990s are more my general taste than modern moe (mecha and action and whatnot), but, you know, good anime still gets made and in the end that's all that matters.

Perfect thread!
I could rewatch Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig and finally finish those last few episodes, or I have Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Chaos Head, D.Gray Man, Guilty Crown, Angel Beats, Samurai Champloo, Darker Than Black, Scryed, Claymore. Not sure where to start! |

Of the shows you listed Jaedia I'd strongly recommend Samurai Champloo and Claymore, both are very fun. Champloo has a more interesting style to it and arguably a better cast, but Claymore is truthfully way more addictive.
I wasn't keen on Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig, Chaos;Head or Angel Beats, and I have not seen the other shows. Last edited by valondar; 12-09-2012 at 11:58 AM. |

Want to watch list:
Accel world Azumanga Daioh Elfen lied Princess Tutu Queen's blade: rebellion (I know I'm probably the only one who found the original entertaining.) Tenchi Universe. What should it be? |

Princess Tutu is my favourite of the ones you've listed and I recommend it very highly. Past that, Elfen Lied or Azumanga Daioh. Haven't seen the others. I've seen the first Patlabor movie. I'd really recommend watching the first OVA before you see the first movie, it, the first movie, and the second movie (which you've also seen) and the third movie are all in-continuity with each other. I think the second OVA is also in continuity with the movies and OVA, and not the TV series, but my memory's unreliable. But however one's approaching Patlabor it's generally an outstanding franchise so yeah, that's good and my top pick here. I've seen Dominon Tank Police... it's okay. Nothing to write home about. Passable entertainment, not great. Garzey's Wing is hilariously bad. This is best watched with friends. You want to mock something really terrible, there are few as greatly awful as this. |
