Ah the price of making chii watch "greatness." So here's the second pretest. Y'all can blame chii for it. ;p The first one definitely got some people to react . . . as did the rant . . .
This one is quite easier than the last one (at least I think so), so scores shouldn't be quite as skewed as last time. "Are you really an otaku?" pretest by purplemo The clarification and ranting of otaku rant And again, before you all go crying out loud about how this isn't all about anime (or recent anime), check the explanations in the threads above. An otaku isn't just about knowing recent anime. If you want to be called a freak (which is what an otaku is despite what everyone outside Japan thinks), you need to know the most basic stuff they do. 1) Who is Miku Hatsune? 2) What is a dakimakmura? 3) Who is Yoshitaka Amano? 4) Name the first Studio Ghilbi movie. 5) Name something both Yu Aida and Makoto Shinkai both worked on. 6) What is the longest running anime series? 7) Who is Doraemon? 8) What is Toho? 9) Who is Megumi Hayashibara? (Looking for more than just a one or two word answer here) 10) What is a dojikko? Bonus 1: Who is Frederica Bernkastel? Bonus 2: Why does Yoshitoshi ABe's Abe look like that? Bonus 3: What is the all-useless butt tackle all about? Try not to check ANY of the spoilers until you're through all of it as there could be spoilers to later questions. I got 2 correct... Sort of.
The Stuido Ghibli question was kind of a fluke. Technically it was more like getting 1 correct. Lol (Toho was the other one I got.)
