MY DNA IS MADE UP OF ANIME
|
Found this little tid-bit of info from someone on Animeondvd's forums. This is just a rumor and its not concrete yet but according to this site Bones has let slip some rumors of possible sequels.
Its just here-say for now but if this is true then alot of FMA fans and fans of Darker than Black will be very happy. Again this is just a rumor that I found when cruising the site so it could just be false but it still makes you wonder about this anyway. Here's the link:a geek by any other name The info is small I know but thought you guys would like to know anyway. Enjoy.

I don't want a sequel to Full Metal Alchemist. I thought the TV series ended really well and the movie was just a bit of overkill. However, I would not be against the idea of a prequel. It could be pretty interesting if done right.

I actually think most FMA fans would very much bemoan a sequel.
The only exception to this would be if it followed the manga from where it split on in AND a conclusion to the manga was in sight that would keep it from going to freaking filler. And it also shouldn't pull the creator-involved-ending card again. It did it once and did it well. No need to push anything. I don't want to see another Kenshin. Don't want to see another Naruto or Bleach. It was fine and complete as it was even BEFORE the movie. I don't even think a prequel would be that great. What's the point? Just money? |

I doubt both of them.
Addendum: (LOLWUT?) I doubt sequels. The Darker than Black manga is a prequel, so once they have enough of that done, it's possible I suppose. The way I can see anything good resulting coming from FMA would be a restart of the series, ala Hellsing, but on a grander scale. Or barring that, a series that takes place during the time skip in FMA. It's like three years I think. Last edited by Zakiel; 07-06-2008 at 04:22 AM. |
