Default New My-Hime Project Begun in Japan

Well this is just regular news folks and thought I would pass along the info on this one.
This could be a new series in the works or an OVA but this is pretty cool that they started a new project from the franchise.

"Project to feature different heroine, Mao" Quote

There is a pic of her and the entire article in the link I am about to post. The pic looks pretty nice and I can't wait to see what they are going to do with the series now.

Here's the link for the info on this:New My-Hime Project Begun in Japan - Anime News Network
Enjoy.

I'm hoping this new one is good, since I enjoyed all of the previous series in this franchise. I'll definitely check this out when it becomes available.

I had to watch Otome again to like it. It "can" be just as dark as Hime but overall Hime is 10 times darker due to the fact of the main plot. I liked both series a lot, Hime was actually one of my top 5 at some point. I'm hoping this one will be a completely new story line.. or a seperate universe from the other 2 we could say.

And here I was hoping for My Hime Destiny. :( I have such a love/hate relationship with My Otome. It isn't nearly as good as My Hime but I can't stay away from it. I am compelled to watch everything related to it.

While i agree that mai-otome was less dark then Mai-Hime i still loved it, i did have to watch some of the episodes twice to really enjoy it i think that the underlying politics and personal struggle for power and justice is great

Can't wait for the next ep of My-Otome 0~S.ifr~

I wonder how deep this one is gonna go, I really like all these shows, but what I don't like is the "Gender Singularity" system that they have in each one... In Hime, it's girls only "Just Because the star is kinda pervy," and in Otome, it was because of some "male hormone" or something.. (was it genes?) that broke down the metal nanomachines... That explanation didn't hold together period. Women carry both male genes and hormones, like men carry female genes and hormones, only they're in different ratios...(so by their explanation they should have broke down in either gender.)

Oh pandasnaps... I ranted.... >.< Well, anyway I'm looking forward to something new to enjoy later on....
