What is the difference between Negima! and Negima!? It doesn't look like Negima!? is a sequel more of a reboot.

I would say the enemies are the least retarded in the show though. Considering he's all but a sniper and has yet to kill anything important from more than a meter away.

Really you could think of it as Negima! follows the first like 50 chapters of the manga and then Negima!? is something completely different that doesn't have anything to do with the manga it only has the same characters and it's own separate plot. So you were right in that it was a reboot.
