I can only bare agreement, I think I died a little inside too at the end, it was more a heart breaking sadness of true despair than anything for me. Although I think we need a spoiler here (eeeeep).

Like, I don't think I've ever cried in an anime, but some that've been very sad would be:

Cowboy Bebop
Trigun
Naruto
One Piece

Many more I've seen I'm sure, but those are the most apparent to me right now :p

Its because I can relate to many of Tatsuhiro's experiences.

The last few episodes were really emotional. Was already feeling kinda sad from Durand and Telligory, Anna's death finished me off.

...Whenever I can relate to some of the characters or their feelings, I get pretty emotional. I think every one of my top 5 had me cursing like hell at some point.
