It was a shame this show was canceled in Japan. It's REALLY REALLY good.

The final battle seemed a bit rushed, but they were low on budget so I understand

like i said... utena would have been a hell of a lot better being shorter. then maybe i could have appreciated the stairs scene XD

Red Garden and the OVA
A pretty good show and I enjoyed it. From the beginning of the show I was pretty much hooked so I gave it a 5 out of 5. The OVA was ok and you find out

what happened to the girls after a long time after the events at the school.

So it wasn't bad and I enjoyed it too. I gave it a 5 out of 5 too.
Baki the Grappler, both seasons
A pretty good show and I did like the

fights in it and it was pretty bloody in the second season. The first was good too and it shaped how the second would be. My only gripe on the show is how they just ended it with no battle between Baki and his father. You get Baki and his brother but no main event after that it just ends. I even looked up the manga online and found out that it ends on there too with no battle between him and his father. Ah well it was still a good show and gave it a 5 out 5 for the story but to me it got a 4 out of 5 for not giving the main event like I wanted to see.

Kannazuki no Miko
Final episode was good, but not as awesome as advertised due to the high levels of predictability. Series remains 3.5/5 because the visual director should be dragged out and shot.

Still...

The whole love of your life erased thing still pulls heartstrings because it's a powerful concept. My problem was that Chikane's death was telegraphed by the series early on when it showed Himeko getting killed--seemed to me like a pretty obvious twist to me.

Also, Chikane gets to join the prestigious "Just fucking DIE already!" Club along with Trinity from The Matrix Trilogy and Anakin Skywalker. I mean, seriously! How long does one high school girl take to bleed out anyway?

I think it could have managed the 50 episodes too. I wonder if coming out, directly after Gundam Wing hurt it.

The main character was brash and sort of cooler than let's say Uso in Gundam V.

Whoa. You must've run into a very small group of people if you went into KnM thinking it would be awesome. It's not a highly regarded show by any means . . . even I thought it was a melting pot of everything bad in anime . . . and I liked it for reasons I can't explain . . .

I glad this one never went on longer because i think that out of the 13 episodes i found one of them to be slightly entertaining. By the end i just didn't care what happened to the characters. I did find some of the characters to be slightly interesting so it wasn't all bad.

So overall i give it 1.5/5

A second season was announced recently but i doubt i will start it.

Clannad - Afterstory
Rated 3 out of 5

much stronger overall (until they wimped out at the end) then the first season. they somehow made me care even a little bit about the characters... something i couldn't manage for those same characters in season 1. i suppose it helped that there was no love triangle sapping the intellegence of the male lead.. so he was sorta sympathetic at points.

So... i was going to give it a 4.0 based on the strong story and drama elements... however... the chickenout at the end made me feel like i wasted my time watching it and angered me a bit. so i dropped it down to a 3.

Ushio was painfully cute though. and Fuuko (who was also the best arc of season 1) was pure win like always. That conversation she held with the dango on her head killed me.. and her attempts to kidnap Ushio to get a little sister were hilarious.
